About The Position

The Mold Shop and Machine Repair Supervisor is accountable for supervising hourly personnel in all phases of machine and mold shop operation, along with all related design and specification activities. The Mold Shop and Machine Repair Supervisor will review bottle quality and mold equipment operating data, analyze blueprints, job histories, and specifications to make recommendations relative to equipment operating adjustments and equipment design changes. This role is responsible for the department’s preventive maintenance program, conducts periodic inspections, manages department KPIs, ensures correct use of safety equipment and that safety policies are followed, and oversees Mold Maker apprenticeship programs.

Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Be able to support job changes and improvement initiatives.
Project management skills.
High school diploma required.
Strong mechanical background.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor Degree in Engineering is preferred.
Prior mold shop operation experience is preferred.
Glass manufacturing knowledge and experience desired.
Working knowledge of SAP desired.
