About The Position
TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the Mold Setter position in our Findlay, Ohio Molding Division. This position is responsible for providing assistance with production, job changes, and changing molds.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED desired
- Communication skills
- Good attendance
- Prior molding/mechanical experience desired
- Crane Experience
Responsibilities
- Perform staging, pulling, setting, and finalizing all scheduled mold changes as assigned
- Complete the entire mold setting check list
- Follow all safety practices including Lockout/Tagout
- Keep area organized and clean
- Communicate all issues with Supervisors by using the chain of command
- Load programs after training and record any issues
- Be able to identify, read and use appropriate mold set tools, correct nozzle tips and set core safeties
- Fill out work orders and deliver them to the appropriate area
- All other related duties as assigned
