About The Position

This position is responsible for setting and removing molds from molding machines, completing all necessary paperwork and documentation, and ensuring compliance with company safety and quality procedures. The role requires the ability to perform various tasks related to mold setup, machine operation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Possesses the technical and mechanical skills to set and pull mold. Required skills level obtained through on-the-job training.
Skills to start and persist with specific course of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency, willing to commit to long hours of work in order to reach goals, working with little or no supervision.
Substantial interpersonal skills for effective communication and interaction with all levels of the organization.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

High School or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Prior Mold Setting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Set and pull molds according to established procedures.
Load programs for Robots and Machines.
Respond to and address machine buzzers, alarms, and red lights.
Complete line clearance, mold upgrades, remove auxiliary equipment, and clean around machines.
Communicate with manager, shift supervisor, quality assurance, toolroom, and maintenance regarding any department-related issues.
Maintain neat, clean, and organized work areas.
Comply with company safety, housekeeping, rules, and procedures.
Ensure practices comply with TS16949 and ISO14001 procedures.
Report to molding supervisor and manufacturing manager.
