About The Position

This position maintains, cleans, and assembles all AVEVA BFS equipment molds. It oversees the administration of mold inventory control and required reports, as well as all mold room parts activities. The role recommends improvements and modifications, prepares various reports on BFS equipment molds, and develops and implements procedures for cleaning, receiving, storing, and issuing molds. The Mold Room Mechanic will answer questions and provide information to other departments, investigate complaints, and take corrective action as necessary for the mold room. They will also assist Engineering and Operations staff in transporting molds to be installed into BFS equipment as needed. The position ensures all BFS molds and the mold room are kept neat, clean, orderly, and that accurate inventory is maintained. The role operates in accordance with the company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, and all established regulatory, compliance, and safety requirements. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Pharmaceutical Manufacturing SOPs and other regulatory requirements.
  • Business English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Basic computerized inventory warehouse systems.
  • Mechanical assembly skills in BFS mold maintenance.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Two (2) years experience with assembling BFS molds.
  • One (1) to two (2) years experience in computerized inventory systems.
