About The Position

We are seeking Mold Maker A who is skilled at proving essential functions and maintaining injection molds that are essential for producing large quantities of medical devices.

Requirements

5+ years of experience
High School Diploma – Trade Technical School, preferred or Equivalent.
Experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 systems preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Diagnoses problems and determines the nature and extent of repairs required; makes recommendations to supervisor.
Maintains a record of job hours for new tools, repairs, and special projects.
Performs additional duties and functions of a related nature as assigned without notice.
Ability to analyze production schedules and maximize machine utilization.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
May design or assist in the design of molds and dies.
Visual acuity to read instructions and inspect produced parts.
Ability to wear full PPE in a cleanroom environment.
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 45 pounds.
Move Equipment weighing up to 45 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, and reach for up to 8 hours per day.
Required to be onsite, based at primary location, per established schedule.
Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as needed.
No travel required.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Production to stay on schedule
Log in w/Formation/IQMS
Develop preventative maintenance, repair schedules and workflow procedures to maximize machine utilization.
Partner with technicians to complete all work orders
Work as a team to keep things running smoothly
Proactively gather information to decide on immediate process actions
Coach and train team members to enhance capabilities
Comply with safety rules and the quality management system
