About The Position

This is a first shift position, and the hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. All positions are safety sensitive. A safety sensitive position is any position designated in writing by an employer, in which a person performing the position while under the influence of marijuana may constitute a threat to health or safety. Qualified candidates will be asked to submit to drug testing and pass a PFT test.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of good mold maintenance practices and procedures (preventive maintenance, repair, overhauls).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
  • Must be able to work in fiberglass (dust/handling fiberglass items/etc.)
  • Must be able to handle chemicals (catalyst/resin/foam).
  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, kneel to work on molds.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PM/Overhaul activities.
  • Follow and update PM/Overhaul schedules for molds.
  • Perform repairs and improvements to molds.
  • Modify molds for Engineering changes and improvements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mold related problems.
  • Keep constant communication with supervisor and team members.
  • Supports production by building or repairing plastic injection molds.
  • Follow standard work process to ensure best practice following schedule and quality requirements.
  • Operate manual tool room equipment.
  • Sets up equipment by studying mold components, materials, tolerances, and machine capabilities.
  • Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed.
