About The Position

This is a first shift position, and the hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. All positions are safety sensitive. A safety sensitive position is any position designated in writing by an employer, in which a person performing the position while under the influence of marijuana may constitute a threat to health or safety. Qualified candidates will be asked to submit to drug testing and pass a PFT test.

Requirements

Knowledge of good mold maintenance practices and procedures (preventive maintenance, repair, overhauls).
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to work overtime.
Must be able to work in fiberglass (dust/handling fiberglass items/etc.)
Must be able to handle chemicals (catalyst/resin/foam).
Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel to work on molds.
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

Perform PM/Overhaul activities.
Follow and update PM/Overhaul schedules for molds.
Perform repairs and improvements to molds.
Modify molds for Engineering changes and improvements.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mold related problems.
Keep constant communication with supervisor and team members.
Supports production by building or repairing plastic injection molds.
Follow standard work process to ensure best practice following schedule and quality requirements.
Operate manual tool room equipment.
Sets up equipment by studying mold components, materials, tolerances, and machine capabilities.
Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed.
