About The Position

As a Mold Hanger Trainee in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry, your main responsibility will be to assist in the setup and maintenance of molds used in the production process. You will work closely with experienced mold hangers to learn the necessary skills and techniques to ensure the molds are properly installed and functioning correctly. Your ultimate goal will be to become a skilled Mold Hanger capable of independently handling mold setup and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles and tools.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with mold setup and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced mold hangers in the setup and removal of molds used in the production process.
• Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Inspect molds for any damages or defects and report findings to the supervisor.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to mold setup and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow.
• Must be willing and able to work any shift
