Requirements

Minimum education: 12th grade or equivalent
Must read, write and speak English.
Ability to sit up to 10 hours
Ability to work with hands under work light
This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Responsibilities

Removes nicks, performs repairs, and polishes molds by hand
Polishes cavities, vents and gates on molds by hand
Performs repairs by hand on molds, such as de-nicking cavities, sanding lands, repairing mold cases, removing tool marks, etc.
Details new molds and prepares them for release to production
Operates pedestal grinder to sharpen polishing stones
Analyzes mold problem(s)
