Mold Change Lead

Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- 2–5 years of plastic injection molding experience
- Previous overhead crane experience
- Proven ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership to the Mold Change team, with a focus on safety and quality
- Perform mold and version changes according to the production schedule
- Set up molding machines and ancillary equipment for production
- Conduct preventive maintenance on molds, including lubrication and minor repairs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and repair machine components
- Ensure all work is completed safely using required PPE and in compliance with standard work
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including CI and 5S efforts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
