Applied Materials•Hillsboro, OR
•$116,000 - $159,500•Onsite

About The Position

Applied Materials is hiring a Module Process Engineer IV focused on dielectric deposition (CVD). The role serves as a technical authority in dielectric deposition, supporting customers through process and equipment problem solving, service improvement, and customer-facing technical leadership. The engineer analyzes process, yield, and equipment data to diagnose root causes, recommend improvements, and address integration, yield, and manufacturability challenges. The position leads customer discussions to identify High Value Problems and define and implement Continuous Improvement Projects. It supports Customer Service Agreement value and growth through improvements to defects, variability, cost of ownership, preventive maintenance, process capability, tool matching, and output. The engineer also demonstrates and promotes new service technologies, produces technical reports and customer presentations, and mentors junior-level Module Process Engineers. The role is based in Hillsboro, Oregon, and requires domestic travel as assigned for customer project support. The stated travel expectation is 25% of the time; the qualifications also describe travel of less than 50% per month depending on customer project support. Relocation is eligible. The listed salary range is $116,000 to $159,500.

Requirements
