Northrop Grumman is seeking a Skillbridge Principal / Senior Modeling Simulation & Performance Analysis Systems Engineer to join their team in Baltimore, MD. This is a 100% on-site position. The SkillBridge Program is an opportunity for service members preparing for civilian careers to gain valuable civilian work experience during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days. Participants will work on-site, gaining experience in an entry to mid-level career path, with a work schedule equivalent to 40 hours per week. The program aims to provide separating service members with job skills training in a professional setting, offering hands-on experience that could lead to full-time employment. Service members must meet specific eligibility criteria, including having served at least 180 days on active duty, being within 12 months of separation or retirement with an honorable discharge, and having completed required military transition programs and ethics briefs. Commander approval is also required. The role involves performance engineering, software integration, and test activities leveraging modeling, simulation, experimentation, and analysis (MS&A) to assess, validate, and optimize system and subsystem performance, particularly for radar systems. This includes working with IQ data, analyzing system behavior, supporting software integration and algorithm development, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The position requires a Secret clearance and the ability to obtain special program access (SAP).
