About The Position

CHAOS Industries is hiring a Modeling & Simulation Engineer for Radars to develop, integrate, and validate models of radar and RF sensing systems. The role spans analytical, behavioral, measurement-level, signal/IQ-level, and closed-loop system models, with fidelity selected to suit the engineering decision, integration activity, test event, or verification objective. The engineer will collaborate with radar architecture, RF and antenna, signal processing, tracking, embedded software, systems engineering, test, and product teams. Candidates with depth in one or more relevant modeling and simulation domains are encouraged to apply; experience in every listed area is not expected. The position supports the design, integration, test, and validation of advanced aerospace and defense systems through physics-based models, simulation environments, and analysis tools. The engineer will evaluate system behavior, improve designs, reduce risk, and help teams assess radar performance in operationally relevant scenarios. Work includes model development and maintenance, performance analysis, software and hardware integration, validation against authoritative sources, test support, and technical documentation. The role is onsite. The stated base salary range is $140,000–$190,000, excluding additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits.

  • Strong programming ability in at least one scientific or analytical environment such as MATLAB, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with Monte Carlo simulation, sensitivity analysis, statistical analysis, uncertainty modeling, or design of experiments.
  • Experience validating or correlating models against analytical results, laboratory measurements, recorded sensor data, range data, or field- or flight-test data.
