About The Position

The Future Talent Program offers internships lasting up to 12 weeks, including one or more projects, within the Research and Development Division. The Modeling & Informatics department is offering an internship at one of its listed locations: Rahway, New Jersey; Boston, Massachusetts; West Point, Pennsylvania; or South San Francisco, California. The paid internship is targeted to start in June 2027 and run for 10–12 weeks, with full-time availability required during June through August 2027. The intern will participate in molecular modeling and/or cheminformatics research, either on an independent project or as part of a drug discovery team. The intern will learn to use data, models, and methods to support hypothesis-driven drug discovery and will be exposed to research areas relevant to drug discovery and development. Research may potentially contribute to a scientific publication. Laptops and laboratory equipment will be provided as necessary. Applicants selected for an interview must be prepared to submit letters of recommendation, a brief research statement, and a transcript. Applicants must select a location when applying if multiple locations are listed.
