About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer with NRO experience to provide Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to a rapidly expanding Government Intelligence Community (IC) customer. This position supports a System Program Office (SPO) in a technical capacity for planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of system development and acquisitions that advance the NRO’s space resiliency posture. The Modeling and Simulation Engineer will work in a collaborative team environment supporting systems engineering, mission analysis, and transition activities to address some of the space community’s most challenging problems.

Requirements

• NRO experience
• Modeling and Simulation (M&S) experience
• Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services experience
• Experience supporting a System Program Office (SPO)
• Experience in planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of system development and acquisitions
• Experience supporting systems engineering, mission analysis, and transition activities

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and evaluations of systems and track resulting metrics.
• Study and analyze a wide variety of interesting and complex problems.
• Assess relevant current and future technologies for insertion.
• Evaluate enterprise verification and validation testing.
• Review and analyze discrepancy reports.
• Assess labor, schedules, and resources required for integrating, testing, validating and transitioning systems.
• Capture and document lessons learned and best practices.
