About The Position

Radiance Technologies is seeking a talented software engineer to join their Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team. The role involves working with a diverse team of software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to explore and develop solutions for projects supporting AFRL, NASIC, DARPA, and other Department of Defense and Intelligence Community initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating software solutions into existing Modeling & Simulation frameworks, such as AFSIM, ITASE, and NGTS, utilizing modern Agile software development practices. The company is looking for innovative, self-starters who can adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile development effort.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Minimum of 5 years software development experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years software development in a systems language (C++ preferred).
  • Experience following agile development processes.
  • Experience using source control, issue management, and CI/CD tools such as git, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, Gitlab runners or similar.
  • Experience developing software for Windows platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with DoD modeling and simulation frameworks, such as AFSIM, NGTS, and ITASE.
  • Experience working in integrated development environments such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and CLion.
  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation best practices.
  • Experience developing software for Linux platforms.
  • Familiarity with DoD security practices.

Responsibilities
