About The Position

Provides post-production support by performing duties such as pouring models using a spatula, ensuring the end result is free of bubbles, grinding models to appropriate thickness using a model trimmer, basing models in vulcanized rubber formers for a consistent look, and articulating models using the appropriate form of articulation. Bites sent in by the doctor are to be cut down appropriately for every case.

Requirements

• High school diploma; two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus.
• Proficient understanding of basic Dental Terminology, a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple notes.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Good hand skills
• Keen eye for details
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, feet, or feel and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
