About The Position

Our Model Marketing Bartender exists to provide excellent service to all guests! Preparing, mixing and pouring beverages, welcoming the masses and taking care of our guest that are here to experience a new level of day and nightlife. Model Marketing Bartender is responsible for serving each customer efficiently, while also adhering to, established procedures for the preparation, service and close out of each transaction. Model Marketing Bartenders are responsible for presenting themselves as a positive reflection of the venue while marketing to potential customers at all times. Works in an efficient and professional manner and able to maintain the cleanliness of workstations and equipment. Participates in in-house modeling programs, special events, Banquet service functions, and performs model/presenter tasks at events. Moreover, market the venue in addition to, offers services to a targeted guest base, while following all specific marketing requirements and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a high volume, service focused restaurant or nightclub
  • Must possess a valid alcohol awareness card and a health department card
  • Must be self-motivated, constantly striving to improve skills and knowledge
  • Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral
  • Must have strong knowledge of spirits, wines, champagne and mixed cocktails
  • Must be able to mix well-balanced cocktails and shots
  • Must be able to operate point of sales systems terminal
  • Basic mathematical skills specific to job responsibilities are required, to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities
  • Must meet social communication standards and requirements in promoting and marketing the venue
  • Must use personal social media accounts to market the venue
  • Must use the following social media platforms for work: Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Must be able to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand or walk a minimum if eight (8) hour shifts
  • Must be able to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Work indoors and/or outdoors, exposed to hot and/or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and somewhat stressful environment with the ability to work under pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Previous bartending experience in a high-volume nightclub environment preferred
  • Previous modeling experience preferred, but not required
  • Multilingual skills is a plus
  • P.S. certification and Sanitation certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, mixing and pouring beverages

  • Greeting and serving guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude
  • Anticipating guest needs
  • Providing guests with information and directions
  • Adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintaining all Sequence of Service Standards to achieve 100% compliance and audit scores
  • Providing information to guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing
  • Recognizing and identifying regular guests and repeat business, using their name whenever possible
  • Maintaining line of sight / atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift
  • Assisting all other team members as needed
  • Maintaining cordial relations with co-workers and guests
  • Having and maintaining a sense of urgency
  • Appearing in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time
  • Adhering to all established policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Complying with all state and federal liquor laws
  • Promoting and marketing the venue using personal social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Developing a personal clientele list
  • Participating and appearing in marketing, publicity or media materials
  • Marketing and promoting venue specific events
  • Adhering to all specified marketing requirements and guidelines
  • Presenting a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachable in order to engage in conversation
