Model Home Host/Hostess - Part Time
About The Position
The Model Home Host/Hostess is responsible for opening and closing model homes, monitoring them hourly, and greeting guests. This role involves routing real estate informational questions, maintaining records of traffic flow, and ensuring homes are stocked with collateral materials. The position also includes replacing light bulbs, performing other job-related duties as requested by a supervisor, assisting with administrative and marketing initiatives, and managing real estate prospects through the sales database. Additionally, the Host/Hostess will recognize and report any needed repairs or warranty work and conduct regular inspections to ensure the Signature Home Collection (SHC) Center maintains high standards. Safety is paramount, requiring adherence to company safety and training programs, reporting safety concerns, on-the-job injuries, and taking personal responsibility for safety daily.
Requirements
- Minimum two years work experience in a guest contact area
- Excellent communication skills with outgoing personality
- Display a strong degree of professionalism at all times
- Display neat and professional appearance at all times
- Experience with computer operation, Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Open and close model homes
- Monitor homes on an hourly basis
- Greet all guests to the Signature Home Collection Center
- Route real estate informational questions as directed by the Supervisor
- Keep a record of traffic flow and turns in daily to sales office
- Responsible for keeping homes stocked with collateral materials
- Replace light bulbs as necessary
- Perform other job related duties as requested by supervisor
- Assist in administrative duties when required
- Assist with Marketing initiatives
- Maintain and engage real estate prospects through the sales database
- Recognize and reports any needed repairs or warranty work
- Regular inspections of homes to insure the SHC Center maintains the necessary high standards
- Perform job responsibilities and operate equipment according to the company safety and training programs
- Report safety or hazard concerns to management
- Report any on the job injury to management
- Take personal responsibility for safety every day
