About The Position

Vantor is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Modeling Engineer with a Secret clearance to join their team. This role involves working with the U.S. Space Force to develop and deploy next-generation Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities. The engineer will create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of products throughout their lifecycle, develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and work with minimal direction. This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government security clearance. The role emphasizes functional expertise, communication, collaboration, and attention to detail in the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities.

Requirements

  • Secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field
  • 5+ years of experience with large-scale missions and systems engineering and integration
  • 3+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems
  • 3+ years of experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals.
