About The Position

As a model-based mission engineer, you know leading-edge model-based systems engineering (MBSE), digital engineering tools, and system-of-systems architectures are critical to national defense. As a senior model-based mission engineer on our engineering team, you’ll evaluate mission architectures, perform advanced trade studies and risk assessments, and lead the design and integration of complex aerospace and defense systems. Your experience in MBSE tools, such as Cameo MagicDraw, system-of-systems modeling, and analytic traceability to Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution. In this role, you’ll contribute to the direction of critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and leading the design of advanced mission architectures that will help transform and define the Air Force of the future. You’ll learn from a large community of engineers across the company and collaborate with senior engineers, analysts, and Air Force stakeholders to help deliver world-class solutions to develop and govern system models, lead mission thread analyses, assess capability gaps, and evaluate emerging technologies for integration into future force designs. Requirements

7+ years of experience developing SysML models using Cameo MagicDraw or similar tools
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
Knowledge of system-of-systems architecture development, mission engineering, and establishing traceability to Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs)
Ability to lead development, integration, and governance of complex system models and mission architectures across multiple stakeholders
Ability to conduct and lead trade studies, risk assessments, and analytic evaluations to inform senior decision-makers
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
