About The Position

SAIC is currently seeking a Mobilization Force Generating Installation (MFGI) Facility Planner to join our team at Fort Bliss, Texas and to assist Brigades with Facility Investment Plan development and maintain continuity to ensure Division priorities are conveyed to Senior Commanders. The MFGI Planner will support Brigades in all non-inherently governmental duties as required. Requirements

  • Fort Bliss, Texas location
  • Assist Brigades with Facility Investment Plan development

  • Strategic planning in support of the design, acquisition, construction, operation, and lifecycle maintenance of facilities

  • Periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, crouching, and lifting
  • Ability to carry light items up to 25 lbs.
  • Extensive traversing throughout the facilities

Responsibilities

  • Duties will include coordination, providing input to future Large Scale Mobilization Operations (LSMO) and strategic planning in support of the design, acquisition, construction, operation, and lifecycle maintenance of facilities.
  • The MFGI Planner will contribute to major facility improvements, renovations, and the construction of new facilities, and participate in all facets of lifecycle management and advise leadership.
  • The work requires periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, crouching, and lifting.
  • Some employees may carry light items up to 25 lbs.
  • The work does not require any special physical effort or ability.
  • The work area is adequately heated, lighted, and ventilated.
  • The work is performed in and out of an office environment and requires extensive traversing throughout the facilities.
