About The Position

In this role, you will help low-income families and individuals identify practical transportation solutions that support employment and childcare needs. As a Mobility Manager for WETAP, you will coordinate transportation services, provide individualized support and education, and build strong partnerships with employers, transportation providers, human service agencies, and other community organizations.

Requirements

  • Reside in Wisconsin
  • Associate degree with two years of work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects
  • Ability to work one-on-one with individuals to identify barriers, explore options, and develop practical solutions while maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with businesses, transportation providers, human service agencies, and community organizations, and to deliver presentations or facilitate discussions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and database systems, including accurate and efficient typing skills of at least 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Providing case management and individualized support to identify transportation solutions related to employment and childcare
  • Coordinating vehicle repair, vehicle loan, and vehicle donation services, including eligibility, loan tracking, and repayment monitoring
  • Conducting customer interviews, assessing available resources and job readiness, and helping individuals explore practical options that support personal, financial, and employment goals
  • Providing transportation, budgeting, and financial literacy education and completing required participant data and Wisconsin Department of Transportation reporting
  • Building partnerships with employers, transportation providers, human service agencies, and community organizations to strengthen and develop transportation solutions
