About The Position

The Mobile X-Ray Technologist provides imaging services at various facilities and settings, using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. The role includes obtaining diagnostic X-ray images, performing EKGs when required, processing and transmitting relevant documentation, and maintaining the vehicle and equipment. The position is full-time and is available in Charlotte, NC; Fresno, CA; Lexington, KY; Richmond, VA; Sacramento, CA; and San Jose, CA. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) experience.
A valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS) license or certification.
A valid regular driver license (DL) or commercial driver license (CDL).

Responsibilities

Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
Unload portable X-ray equipment and bring it into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians.
Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images.
Perform EKGs and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation when required.
Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily according to protocol.
Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment.
