Mobile X -Ray Technologist
About The Position
SerKy Consulting is hiring a Mobile X-Ray Technologist for a healthcare client. The technologist brings diagnostic imaging to patients in a range of facilities, working independently while traveling and receiving dispatch and management support. The role involves conducting physician-ordered imaging exams, producing clinically diagnostic images, and completing related documentation. Multiple schedules are available: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM; Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM; Saturday–Monday, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM; or Sunday–Tuesday, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of EKG/ECG experience.
- One active certification: ARRT, RRT, or ARDMS.
- Valid driver’s license (regular or CDL) and a clean driving record.
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination, as required by the client.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Transport and set up portable imaging equipment at facilities to complete physician-ordered exams.
- Produce high-quality, clinically diagnostic images.
- Perform EKGs and transmit them to a cardiologist for interpretation, as needed.
- Scan and submit exam paperwork and billing documents daily, following protocol.
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and management.
- Interact professionally with patients, facility staff, peers, and supervisors.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle and imaging equipment.
