Mobile Wound Care Nurse (RN)
About The Position
NIVA Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Mobile Wound Care Division. The nurse provides advanced wound care directly to patients in their homes, supporting healing and independence. The role includes delivering low-frequency, non-contact ultrasound therapy, traveling locally to patients’ homes, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records. NIVA Health provides training and mentorship, with opportunities to develop professionally and progress to advanced roles.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Passion for wound care and patient-centered healthcare.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic mobile care environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced wound care therapies, including low-frequency, non-contact ultrasound, to promote healing and reduce infection risks.
- Travel locally to provide personalized care in patients’ homes while following safety and infection-control standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support coordinated patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about wound care protocols to encourage compliance and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Participate in training and mentorship to develop professionally and prepare for advanced roles.
