About The Position
Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated, maintenance-orientated Welder at our Breit Quarry. This position will be responsible for welding, fabricating, cutting, and miscellaneous mechanical work for our Breit Quarry. This position will be working at surface quarries.
Requirements
- High School Degree
- Previous welding/fabrication experience
- Stick and Wire feed welder
- Skill Trade Certification(s)
- Class E Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant equipment
- Work in outdoor environments and in elevated areas
- Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant equipment
- Use a wide variety of hand tools and power tools
- Be proactive in safety and work well in a team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Travel 60% of the time
- Other duties as assigned
