Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to serve Naples, Fort Myers, Pelican Bay, Estero, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Florida, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, an average of three to four appointments per day, comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The veterinarian works independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Available schedules include three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities; three-day part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation varies by schedule. Four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
