Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian in the Merrimack Valley, New Hampshire area, including Manchester, Nashua, Derry, Salem, Londonberry, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, supporting families during meaningful end-of-life moments. The role offers a mobile alternative to in-clinic practice and an opportunity to practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Schedules are available for three, four, or five days per week, with flexible scheduling and an average of three to four appointments per day. The organization provides comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available with prorated compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
- Travel to appointments in the Merrimack Valley area and surrounding communities.
- Practice veterinary medicine in a mobile setting, with an average of three to four appointments per day.
