Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Baltimore, Maryland, including Annapolis, Pasadena, Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Edgewater, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, typically with three to five workdays per week, and an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. The veterinarian practices independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Compensation depends on schedule structure. Four-day positions start at $117,500, and five-day positions offer a $140,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available with prorated compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must undergo a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Travel to clients’ homes to provide mobile veterinary care.
