About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time Mobile Veterinarian serving Grand Rapids, Michigan, including Wyoming, Rockford, Ada, Kentwood, Caledonia, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. This role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $85,000, and five-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day and part-time compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
