Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time in-home veterinarian serving Oceanside, California, including Fallbrook, Encinitas, San Clemente, Vista, Carlsbad, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as well as three-day part-time opportunities. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
