About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Savannah, Richmond Hill, Pooler, Guyton, Rincon, Bloomingdale, Georgia, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes. The role offers a flexible schedule, typically 2–5 days per week, with an average of 3–4 appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, personalized mentorship, support from experienced leaders, and access to a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available, with compensation prorated according to schedule.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates must complete a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
Conduct mobile appointments in clients’ homes.
