Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to serve Beverly, Lynn, Peabody, Salem, Gloucester, Danvers, Haverhill, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four appointments per day, and time for unrushed appointments. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available; three-day part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation depends on schedule structure. Four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day opportunities offer prorated compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in a mobile setting.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
