Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Baltimore, Maryland, including Annapolis, Pasadena, Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Edgewater, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, helping families through meaningful end-of-life moments. This role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day, four-day, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as well as part-time opportunities. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $117,500, while five-day positions have a $140,000 base salary, plus bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must undergo background and motor vehicle record checks after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
