About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a full-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Frederick, Hagerstown, Maryland, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with a focus on professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and a balanced, supported career. Veterinarians typically have an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day, allowing more time with families and less paperwork. Flexible schedules of two to five days per week are available, including three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities as well as part-time opportunities. Compensation varies with the schedule: four-day positions start at $117,500, while five-day positions offer a $140,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities; three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule. Veterinarians join a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The role includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Candidates will be subject to background and motor vehicle record checks after hire and before their associated start date.
