Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Charlotte, Waxhaw, Concord, Matthews, Huntersville, Monroe, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, typically with 3–4 unrushed appointments per day, and is supported by onboarding, mentorship, experienced leaders, practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Full-time schedules are available for three, four, or five days per week. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available with prorated compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Successful background and motor vehicle record checks after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
- Conduct mobile veterinary appointments in the service area.
- Work some weekends.
