Schedule - Full-time What You'll Do Responsible for safely operating the Ozark Center Mobile Mental Health Unit across the counties served. This position ensures all driving, setup, and securement activities are completed efficiently, professionally, and with a strong emphasis on safety. The Mobile Unit Driver conducts routine vehicle inspections and promptly reports any issues or discrepancies to the Ozark Center Transportation Supervisor. In addition, this role provides clerical and administrative support related to the coordination and delivery of services for individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges. The Mobile Unit Driver is trained in trauma-informed care and contributes to a supportive, respectful environment designed to minimize the risk of re-traumatization while promoting safe and compassionate service delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a valid Missouri Class E driver’s license or other state’s equivalent driver’s license.
  • Acceptable driving record and a minimum of 23 years of age (for insurance purposes).
  • CPR certification within 6 months of hire.
  • General computer knowledge with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet required.
  • Must complete Trauma Informed Care and Handle with Care De-escalation Training during 120-day orientation period and then annually after that.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with operating larger vehicles preferred.
  • Previous clerical or medical record experience preferred.

Responsibilities
