Cover Mobile Tyre Technician
About The Position
Our Mobile Tyre Technicians travel to our customers at their home, workplace and on the roadside. As a Cover Mobile Tyre Technician you’ll provide holiday and sickness cover. You’ll need to be prepared to use your own vehicle for travel to the base location of the Mobile van you are to cover and potentially stay away from home for up to 4 nights a week as the location you are covering may be a long commute from your home. You will not be expected to stay away every week, but extensive stays may be required. National Tyres and Autocare is now part of the Halfords family. Requirements
- Full driving licence
- Experience of repairing and replacing tyres
- Experience with computer systems
- Ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Own vehicle
- Flexibility to stay away from home
Responsibilities
- Provide holiday and sickness cover for Mobile Tyre Technicians.
- Travel to customer locations (home, workplace, roadside).
- Remove, repair, and fit tyres.
- Diagnose tyre faults and determine appropriate solutions (repair or replacement).
- Organize daily work schedules.
- Deliver great customer service.
