MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking a Technical Assistant to join our growing Mobile MRI Team. As a member of our mobile team, you'll help bring high-quality diagnostic imaging services directly to communities across the region while supporting MRI operations at multiple healthcare facilities. This role will support mobile MRI operations in the Gastonia market, serving multiple healthcare facilities throughout the region as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have CPR certification
- Minimum 0 – 2 years of experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a technical assistant, preferred
Responsibilities
- Screen patients prior to exam day
- Assist the patient in completing paperwork
- Obtain medical history from the patient
- Escort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam
- Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room
- Screen the patient for the exam - mainly MRI and CT exams
- Assist the technologist in preparing the exam table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)
- Collate films and deliver to Radiologist
- Maintain linen inventory
- Assist with quarterly imaging inventory
- Research availability and obtain reports and films requested by Radiologist
- Serve as liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist
- Other duties as assigned
