Mobile Software Developer: AI Agentic
About The Position
Trimble is hiring a P4 Lead Mobile Software Developer to provide technical vision and strategic leadership for a next-generation mobile ecosystem spanning iOS and Android. The role focuses on integrating agentic AI frameworks and .NET to modernize mobile solutions for global enterprise construction customers. The developer will lead greenfield, cloud-based, multi-tenant projects and build and maintain AI agents that accelerate the software development lifecycle. The role includes modernizing existing architecture with .NET and cloud-native principles, evolving mobile CI/CD pipelines, and managing cloud deployments using Azure and Kubernetes. It also involves mentoring engineering teams, setting coding standards, and leading architectural discussions. Requirements
- 7–10+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on mobile platforms and the .NET/C# ecosystem.
- Proven ability to design and implement agentic AI workflows and use LLMs to solve complex architectural challenges.
- Expert knowledge of Entity Framework (EF) Core.
- Advanced experience with REST Web APIs and Identity concepts (IAM).
- Mastery of mobile testing and mocking frameworks, including XCUITest, NUnit, and NSubstitute.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, including Azure services, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS).
Nice To Haves
- Experience establishing AI governance and coding standards to ensure high-quality organizational output.
- Expertise using AI-driven patterns to migrate legacy monolithic applications into modern C# microservices.
- Advanced proficiency with Azure DevOps and AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
- Familiarity with construction industry accounting or project management software.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical vision and strategic leadership to architect a modern, scalable mobile ecosystem across iOS and Android.
- Lead implementation of agentic workflows and AI agents to automate routine maintenance, feature development, and high-scale testing.
- Modernize existing mobile architecture using .NET and cloud-native principles.
- Oversee the evolution of mobile CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud deployment strategies within Azure and Kubernetes.
- Mentor engineering teams, establish high-level coding standards, and lead architectural whiteboarding sessions.
- Build and maintain AI agents to accelerate the development lifecycle.
