About The Position

OmniSource is seeking a Mobile Shear Operator to join their team. This role involves operating various material handling equipment safely and productively, loading containers, sorting scrap, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player, able to work in all weather conditions and flexible hours, with a strong understanding of safety regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of scrap is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple types of material handling equipment i.e. Dump Truck, Wheel Loader, Skid Steer Loader and Forklift, in a safe and productive manner.
• Load Containers, sort scrap, sample material, any others duties as requested by Lead or supervisor.
• Inspect Equipment prior to operation, fuel, lubricate daily.
• Assist Lead and Supervisor with identification and tracking of all inventory upgrades and changes in classification to assist with perpetual inventory goals.
• Ability to cross train on various equipment types.
• All other duties as requested by Lead and Supervisor.
