About The Position

As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to the customer and diagnosing and repairing their RV units. The ideal candidate is confident working with their hands, background in car maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or general contracting, has experience in repair diagnostics, and has good attention to detail. Bish’s RV offers on the job training and certifications.

Requirements

• Experience in either mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or maintenance work
• Have a set of personal tools
• The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time
• The ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive device
• Work in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Value in all interactions with customers and co-workers

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of experience working in a technical field a plus

Responsibilities

• Performing work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance to dealership standards
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair RV systems
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors so customers can stay up to date
• Provide time estimates for repairs
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Provide orientation warranty walk-throughs with customer who have purchased an RV
