About The Position

This is FleetPride's technician who will be able to work on most heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs. This person will be primarily be repairing customer vehicles in dedicated lots, in a designated company vehicle, and will be able to take this vehicle home.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HD truck/trailer repair experience.
• Good communication skills with the service manager, service writer and customers about jobs in progress.
• Ability to provide your own tools and box.
• Valid DL with good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• CDL is a plus, but not required.
• Someone who is driven to work efficiently and safely to provide the best service.

Responsibilities

• Repairing customer vehicles in dedicated lots.
• Performing heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs.
• Participating in an on-call rotation for double-time pay.
• Communicating with the service manager, service writer, and customers about jobs in progress.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing air systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing starting systems.
• Repairing brakes.
• Repairing wheel ends.
• Repairing coolant systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing AC systems.
• Addressing steering and alignment issues.
• Diagnosing and repairing drivetrain issues.
• Removing and replacing differentials.
• Repairing after-treatment systems.
• Performing miscellaneous trailer repairs.
