About The Position

As a Mobile Service Technician, you will perform vehicle maintenance and repairs at customer locations, delivering dealership-quality service with convenience and ease. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The Mobile Tech position reports to the Service Manager is onsite and requires regular home visits to customers.

Requirements

• Previous automotive repair experience required.
• 1 or more years of experience (Ford)
• ASE certifications and/or manufacturer certifications
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Work offsite with Clients
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer satisfaction and quality expertise.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately according to Ford and dealership standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and determine the appropriate corrective action.
• Complete work in compliance with all safety requirements and company policies.
• Document repairs, diagnostic procedures, test results, and labor times accurately on repair orders.
• Maintain a professional mobile work environment and uphold company standards.
• Provide and maintain a personal inventory of standard automotive technician tools.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Sterling Heights Ford in the field.
