About The Position
Lunghamer Ford of Owosso is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Service Technician to join their team in Owosso, Michigan. This is a full-time individual contributor role with competitive salary and benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive maintenance and repair services through the company's mobile service unit, ensuring customer satisfaction and the efficient operation of the mobile service. The mobile van is complete with all necessary tools and equipment to safely perform service away from the dealership. The company aims to tailor career paths, including State and ASE certifications, and provides paid Ford factory training. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive service technician
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair methods
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Travel to designated locations with the mobile service unit to perform automotive maintenance and repair services on customer vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Communicate with customers to explain repairs and services needed, provide estimates, and answer any questions.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
