About The Position

JX Enterprises is hiring a Mobile Service Technician in Marquette, Michigan. The technician helps keep customers’ fleets moving by repairing customer vehicles, lease units, and company inventory, diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, and providing courteous customer service. The role works collaboratively with team members and leadership in a fast-paced environment and includes opportunities to develop technical skills through training. The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

Typically four years of experience.
Completion of a diesel-focused technical school program.
Ability to complete designated tasks on time while meeting quality requirements.
Valid state or federal mobile air-conditioning certification.
Curious mindset, strong integrity, and a passion for continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

Perform necessary repairs on customer vehicles, lease units, and company inventory.
Diagnose, disassemble, clean, and inspect engines.
Diagnose, disassemble, clean, overhaul, repair, rebuild, and adjust clutches, differentials and power divider systems, suspension systems, electrical systems, braking systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, steering systems, emission systems, and hydraulic systems.
Submit and complete technical reports and documentation.
Troubleshoot fault codes and check engine lights.
Assist with engine rebuilds and overhauls.
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a diplomatic, courteous manner with customers and fellow employees.
Develop technical abilities by participating in training and development opportunities.
Complete assigned training on time, including at least 90% of assigned Peterbilt Training.
Collaborate with team members and leadership to cultivate positive customer experiences.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the business.
