About The Position

Long-Lewis of Hoover is hiring Mobile Service Technicians to join their growing team. This full-time role offers competitive flat rate pay ($20–$45/hr) and the chance to bring top-quality service directly to customers at their homes or workplaces. Technicians will travel to customer locations in a fully equipped company vehicle to diagnose and perform on-site repairs or maintenance services. They will advise customers on next steps for more complex issues, work on a wide range of makes and models, and maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer satisfaction while representing the Long-Lewis brand.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in dealership or high-volume repair facilities
Strong knowledge of various makes/models and solid diagnostic ability
High school diploma or GED required
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be able to work independently, efficiently, and communicate effectively
Professional appearance, customer-first mindset, and a strong work ethic
Physical stamina to meet the demands of an on-site, hands-on role

Nice To Haves

ASE Certification
Ford and/or Lincoln FSA Certifications
Post-secondary auto training
