The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Valid NJ SORA License (or ability to obtain)
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Ability to work various shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
Comfortable working independently and traveling between locations
Strong communication and report-writing skills
18 years of age.
High School diploma or GED
7 years of employment verification.

Nice To Haves

Previous security or patrol experience preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols of assigned client locations
Inspect buildings, parking areas, and perimeters for suspicious activity
Ensure all doors, gates, and access points are secure
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents as needed
Identify and report hazards, incidents, and security concerns promptly
Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports using mobile devices
Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
Enforce company policies and site-specific procedures
Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access through a visible presence
