Mobile Security Officer (Must be available 1st and 3rd shift)
About The Position
This position is for a Mobile Security Officer at Securitas, a global company providing advanced and sustainable security solutions. The role involves driving to multiple client locations during a shift to respond to alarms, investigate break-ins and suspicious activity, and ensure site security upon arrival and departure. Officers are expected to work independently across different areas of cities and utilize technology, specifically smartphones with the Vision system, for navigation, reporting, alarm response, and logging visits. Candidates should be dependable, trustworthy, professional, and capable of de-escalating and managing situations involving transients and active crimes. Requirements
- A valid drivers license
- A driving record meeting the Securitas Safe Driving guidelines
- An Arizona Security License
- Comfortable working independently in different areas of the cities
- Comfortable with use of technology - smartphones for our Vision system
- Dependable, trustworthy, and professional
- Ability to de-escalate and handle situations that include transients and active crimes in progress
- Ability to maintain a high standard of attendance
Nice To Haves
- Security experience with a preference toward Mobile Patrol experience
Responsibilities
- Drive to multiple locations on shift
- Check on alarms, break-ins, and suspicious activity
- Ensure sites are secure upon arrival and departure
- Work independently in different areas of the cities
- Navigate and use smartphones for the Vision system
- Make reports, respond to alarms, and log visits using the Vision system
- De-escalate and handle situations that include transients and active crimes in progress
- Maintain a high standard of attendance
- Maintain the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle
- Actively monitor the premises
- Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
