About The Position
The 3rd shift Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling park property, preventing incidents, and responding to security concerns. This role supports guest assistance, traffic control, and overall loss prevention.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Ability to enforce rules while maintaining a positive guest experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and patrol up to 1 mile
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Patrol Park grounds (vehicle patrol) and monitor for safety or security issues.
- Enforce Park rules, policies, and applicable laws.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and unusual situations.
- Assist guests, employees, and visitors as needed.
- Monitor entrances/exits and direct traffic or parking when required.
- Complete reports and maintain confidentiality.
- Support park cleanliness and general operations as assigned.
